A BESPOKE Camp Hill home with sweeping city views has sold by private treaty for $1.47 million last month.

Corelogic records show the Queenslander at 56 Halland Tce was listed as going to auction at the end of September, and at the start of October it was marketed for “offers over $1.4 million”.

The home has city views

According to Corelogic the median house price for the suburb is $787,000, an increase of almost 5 per cent over the past year.

Owners Karolyn and Mark Dunn bought the 810sq m property 21 years ago and lived there with their three girls.

There is a loft which is accessible by a ladder

They were the third owners of the home, and said the original owner had built a bomb shelter in the garage which is now used as a herb garden.

The five-bedroom, two-bathroom home also has a sunroom/study, lounge room, open-plan living and dining area plus a loft accessible by a ladder.

The property also has an inground pool

Traditional features include bay windows, high ceilings, timber floors, VJ walls and french doors.

There’s also a butler’s pantry, inground pool, stone benchtops, water tank and split-system airconditioning.
